To provide the core functionality of the App, we collect:

  • Workout Logs (exercises, sets, reps, weight, time, distance)
  • Notes associated with your workouts
  • Voice Notes & Photos (if you use AI analysis features)

Note on Sensitive Data: Under GDPR, health data is considered "special category data." We process this data based on your explicit consent, which is obtained when you actively log this information into the App.

C. Device Permissions

The App may request access to:

  • Camera: To take photos of workout logs for AI analysis.
  • Microphone: To record voice notes for AI analysis.
  • Photo Library: To save or upload workout images.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

  • Creating and managing your account.
  • Storing and visualizing your workout history.
  • Providing AI-powered insights and analysis of your training.
  • Improving App performance and user experience.
  • Communicating with you regarding your account or security updates.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using your personal information is:

  • Contractual Necessity: To provide the services defined in our Terms of Service.
  • Consent: For processing health-related data and optional features (like AI analysis).
  • Legitimate Interests: For improving our App and ensuring security.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: We use third-party vendors to perform services on our behalf, such as:
    • Supabase: For database hosting and authentication services.
    • Google Cloud & Google (Gemini AI): For processing images and audio for workout analysis.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Third-Party AI Services (Google Gemini)

We utilize Google's Gemini API to power our intelligent workout logging features.

  • What Data is Sent: When you explicitly choose to use the Voice Log or Camera Scan features, the audio snippet or image you capture is securely transmitted to Google's servers.
  • Purpose: This data is used strictly to transcribe your speech or analyze the text/equipment in your image to automatically generate workout logs.
  • Protection: Google acts as a data processor. Your data is NOT used to train Google's foundational AI models. It is processed ephemerally or subject to strict enterprise data protection agreements.
  • Control: You must explicitly opt-in to use these features. You can revoke this consent at any time via the "AI Data Processing" toggle in the App Settings.

6. Specific Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete your account and all associated data ("Right to be Forgotten"). These options are available within the App settings or by contacting us.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, common format.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your data from our active databases, subject to any legal obligations.

9. Children

The App is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
